Book Horizons opened on January 27, 1953 when South Dixie Highway (US-1) was little more than a dusty, dirt road.

Many things have changed since then but Book Horizons is very similar to how it was 58 years ago.

We still have the same owner and the same philosophy--to provide used & new books with fast, personalized service in a friendly, family-owned atmosphere.

We are happy to have this website to communicate with you but will never lose sight of the fact that it is our high level of personal service that has been our trademark for nearly 60 years. There is always an owner or manager at the store to speak with you. (No voice mail spoken here!)
